Mystery of the Map Book & Island Review!

MysteryofdaMap

Hi guys! I’ve literally just finished reading MotM and dang it was short. Anyway, here we go! Warning: Spoilers Ahead.

And yes, yes, I know I’ve been reviewing stuff a lot, and don’t think it’ll end today. Tomorrow, I have the second book to review!

THE PLOT

The same as the MotM Island. Condolences for being vaguely in-descriptive.

THE SETTING

This book was first set on the hot air balloons, followed by an Island fully occupied by Vikings. At the end of the book, they set sail for “home” which is actually not specified.

THE STORYLINE

It is quite the same as the  actual MotM Island, except that it is in 3rd person, not 2nd. Go play MotM!

THE CHARACTERS

Mya: Mya seems to be the leader of the group in the story. She is constantly taking charge and bossing the other two around:

Jorge: Jorge always seems to drag the other two down a whole lot, and seems to think of himself entitled. Nothing more to say, peeps!

Oliver: Oliver is the average person out of the three. Courageous but also sometimes laid back, he can be helpful most of the time.

Octavian: Octavian is a really crafty villain, who seems to become more and more disheveled as the books go on (I don’t wanna spoil it for you):

All in All: I like all the characters in the first book (not necessarily the second)…

THE FINAL VERDICT

This was an awesome book! Yes, it was short, but I liked the Characters and Storyline! I’d have liked it more, though, if the book had come out before the Island.

ISLAND

mystermap1

I didn’t really like the Island. I have no idea why, but it might be along the tunes of the plot seemed funny. I mean, how can you crash land on an Island, and then be able to get back on the blimp at the end of the Island to leave it!

THE PLOT

You get stranded on an island, then help Octavian down, do a series of commands to find yourself in a Vikings’ Fort, drawls on. Play it yourself to find out!

THE CHARACTERS

Can be found at the book review.

THE GAMEPLAY

Since this was a Sound Updated Island, it didn’t really have any glitches or bugs that I came across. Nice scenery, too!

DIFFICULTY

It was a two skull difficulty level, but I found it easier than 24 Carrot Island!

THE FINAL VERDICT

What do you think about it!? Tell me in the comments!

Bye–

Did you actually think I would leave without telling you what I thought about the Island? It would get between a 3.5 and a 3.7.

Now, I gotta go. Bye!
